The Arboretum at Flagstaff: Story Circle
Design Approach & Features
The Story Circle will cut into an artificial hill in the middle of a meadow. An elevated, colored-concrete walkway will lead to a circular open-air amphitheater, which is open to the San Francisco Peaks (for views) and will host talks during the day and at night on summer evenings. Aspen trees and Amur maples will be planted on the low hill.
